The 4th graders saw a need and they filled it. They realized that our Kindergarten class never got to participate in the Halloween parade downtown and collect candy. So the 4th graders worked in partners to create downtown storefronts which they set up in the commons. Then they gathered things to give the Kindergarteners when they came trick or treating. These included candy, gum, pencils, juice, stickers, and safety tags for coat zippers. Nathaniel gave them a few tips on staying safe when they are out trick or treating. The Kindergarten students were very excited and grateful.
Junior high and high school students came out to watch the parade
We celebrated with our own Halloween party.
